We are offering artists of any experience level the opportunity to be part of a new virtual exhibition.
This is a new and exciting medium for showing and sharing art – and we hope that everyone can be involved. That’s why we are holding an open exhibition that is completely free to enter. The idea is to give as many people as possible the chance to experience an immersive gallery – and not only do we want you to see it, we want you to be in it!
We are calling on all artists – amateurs, professionals and complete beginners – to enter their favourite pieces of work into our open competition. Submissions will be accepted until 31st August. All submissions are completely free.
To submit your work and find out more, you can do this via the World View arts group.
Join the World View group on Facebook: facebook.com/groups/worldviewuk
Follow World View on Instagram: instagram.com/worldviewuk
Simply post your pictures one at a time, with #openart in the description.
Alternatively, you can send your pictures by email to email@example.com
If one of your pieces is selected we will contact you to ask for a high resolution image along with your name and a title for the piece.
There is no specific theme for the exhibition – selections will be made based on quality and originality and will be curated and arranged according to categories.
If your work is selected – it will be included in the exhibition for free. All art works will be shown with the name of the artist and its title. We will be in contact with all successful entrants to ask if they wish to add a link or any extra artworks.
This free open exhibition is only possible because we want to spread the word about this amazing new way of sharing and experiencing art. The virtual gallery has space for several hundred pieces of work – large scale, beautifully lit and set in a unique and atmospheric virtual environment.
The exhibition will be released in September 2017 – Email links will be sent to all artists when it is ready to go! You will then be able to download the interactive exhibition for PC and Mac. Share and explore the immersive virtual gallery with friends, family, colleagues and fans. Promote yourself, take screenshots and share your work on social media.
We will be sharing updates about the #openart project as it develops. If you submit your pieces early then it may be used in images we release throughout development, giving you the chance to see your art before the full release. Follow us on Twitter or Instagram, or sign up to the Curat10n newsletter and follow our blog at Curat10n.com.
The virtual gallery will also be shown as an interactive exhibition in London later this year.
