Open Art Festival 2021

An Exhibition of Artwork & Performance from Around the World

What is the Open Art Festival 2021?

The Open Art Festival is a chance for artists to be part of something innovative and visionary. It is free to enter, free to visit, and open to all. Visitors from around the world will be able to explore the festival island and view pictures and videos from more than 40 international artists.

Where & When is the Exhibition?

It’s happening here and now. The festival takes place on a virtual island, with five exhibition areas. These areas include a lighthouse, a cliffside theatre, a contemporary mountain-top gallery, an observatory and a pier. Each area focuses on it’s own form of creativity, with separate locations devoted to fine art, photography, digital arts, music & performance. This is a virtual space, so it is always open, and it is accessible to visitors from around the world! You can explore the exhibition below, or visit the TOUR PAGE to watch a video tour.

Is there more to come?

Yes. Lots more. Over the coming months we will be working with more artists and inviting more collaborators to get involved. Here are a few things to get excited about…

  • An exhibition of art & science in the observatory, focusing on data visualization and visual storytelling
  • An exhibition of digital art, meme culture and NFTs in the lighthouse
  • A sculpture park, with 3D digital models to find around the island
  • A public vote and competition, so you can tell us what your favourite pieces are
