The Shapes Galleries include the Long Room, Square Room and Tee Room. These 3 small galleries can be used individually, or they can be combined to make different gallery layouts. Each of the 3 rooms is about the same size and has a small capacity, but they can be connected in a flexible way to make galleries with up to six rooms.
You can see the layout of the gallery in the map below.
Each room can have up to three doorways added to it. When rooms are combined, the doorways can be placed on any section of the wall to connect them together. The square, long and tee-shaped rooms fit together like a puzzle and can be arranged in any way. You can see some examples of layouts in the map images below, but any combination is possible.
The décor in the gallery can be selected before you start adding your exhibition content. It is possible to choose the floor and wall materials in each room, as well as the materials for the door and window frames, and the skirting at the base of the walls.
You can see some images of the gallery below.
Each individual room has capacity for between 24 and 32 wall exhibits (usually used for pictures and videos). The Tee Room has space for 1 floor exhibit and the Square and Long Rooms have space for 4 floor exhibits (usually used for sculptures and other 3D objects).
If you have a quarterly subscription then you have the option of customizing the layout of wall and floor positions, and you will also be able to increase the gallery capacity. Alternatively, you can use the Shapes Galleries as a starting point for creating a unique custom-made gallery and make changes to the space in any way that you wish.
The basic wall and floor positions are shown on the map below.
