The Jewel is a small virtual space with a simple layout and an attractive glass roof. The faceted roof gives the gallery its name, because of it resembles a cut gemstone.
You can see the layout of the gallery in the map below.
The gallery has two rooms. There is a small rectangular room with high walls and a large doorway at each end. This room is in the center of a much larger rectangular room with a lot of wall space. The outer room has raised positions in each corner that are ideal for displaying sculptures or other objects.
You can take a tour of The Jewel by watching the video below.
The décor in the gallery can be selected before you start filling it with your exhibition content. It is possible to choose the floor and wall materials in each room, as well as the materials for the glass roof and the skirting at the base of the walls.
You can see some images of the gallery below.
The basic gallery has a capacity for up to 56 wall exhibits (usually for pictures and videos) and capacity for up to 6 floor exhibits (usually for sculptures and other 3D objects).
If you have a quarterly subscription then you have the option of customizing the layout of wall and floor positions, and you will also be able to increase the gallery capacity. Alternatively, you can use the Jewel Gallery as a starting point for creating a unique custom-made gallery and make changes to the space in any way that you wish.
The basic wall and floor positions are shown on the map below.
