Interior Design is the oldest field of study at University of the Arts in Poznań which has been educating students for nearly 90 years and is currently co-creating Interior Design and Stage Design Faculty. The curriculum provides a multidisciplinary development for students. The process of specialist education which takes part in (individually chosen by students) an interior design studio or during exhibitions, studios devoted to other additional fields of design, is complemented by a theoretical knowledge. Besides specialist education students pursue general arts programs in the drawing studios and individually chosen art studios. Preparing students for working individually and also for cooperation is the highest priority. The most significant goal is to educate a responsible, aware designer who has a critical, creative attitude towards design, appreciates and perserves certain values and confidently looks for new solutions.
